2007 UPS Centennial Celebration in Seattle a Flawless Success Thanks to Award-winning Meeting and Event Production Company Jeff Peck Productions
Atlanta., Ga. (PRWEB) October 19, 2007 -- When Jeff Peck, President and lead Producer of Jeff Peck Productions, was approached back in 2006 by UPS to coordinate their 2007 Centennial Celebration his immediate reactions were both excitement and fear.
"We'd been doing business with UPS for 12 years and have also handled high profile events for other very large organizations - but I knew this event was going to be huge right from the start and it had to be perfect," said Peck.
While Jeff Peck Productions - with their long track record of producing successful events - may have been a natural choice for UPS, pulling off such a detailed event was not without long hours and a lot of stress. Peck continued, "The graphic production alone was a 24/7 process starting almost two months before the event Then, over the three day event in Seattle , there were ballroom venues - with two separate stage sets - outdoor venues - even a 500-person stadium seating plan that had to be completely set up the night before the final evening program."
With the Centennial date approaching and the pressure on, the UPS Team in charge of the event and the Jeff Peck Productions team quickly became one cohesive unit. A UPS executive overseeing the event, who declined to be named due to corporate policy, concurred "You only get one chance to celebrate 100 years of progress and Jeff Peck Productions came through with a flawlessly executed production - and they were on-time and on-budget.
