Chesapeake Homes North Carolina Hires Production Manager

Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) July 24, 2007 -- Chesapeake Homes North Carolina, following a recent expansion into the Triangle market, has hired Mark Kring as production manager to oversee field operations, product development and purchasing.

A graduate of The University of Michigan with a B.A. in economics, Kring brings 13 years construction experience along with eight years of construction operation management. A former employee of Homes by Huff (Crossman Communities) and 1st American Builders, Kring started in the field and worked his way up to become an integral part of the management teams for both companies. Under his leadership, Homes by Huff grew from 50 units to 200 over 6 years and 1st American Builders grew from 23 to 145 closings in three years.

Kring's first project for Chesapeake Homes North Carolina will include overseeing the construction of Colonial, Traditional and Craftsman-style homes in Wakefield Development Company's new 687-acre 12 Oaks community, located off the new Highway 55 bypass in Holly Springs. Prices range from the $290s to the $360s and homebuyers can choose from several floor plans offering 2,100 to 3,000 square feet of living space with multiple elevations.

A classic southern community, 12 Oaks features a Nicklaus Design Group 18-hole golf course and offers a sports club including fitness, tennis and an aquatic center scheduled to

open in late 2008. Double tree-lined sidewalks, parks, playgrounds and abundant landscaping add to the streetscape of southern architecture. A gracious antebellum-style clubhouse, scheduled for a 2009 opening, will feature a golf pro shop, men's and women's locker rooms, casual and formal dining and a ballroom.
